If you ask me about the things which I find most useful and entertaining, I will point at the mod-step-sequencers that modulate the overall MS2K timbre into a variety of groovy little sound-scapes. Its sound and character is like a mixture of warmth, strength, courage and playfulness. The MS-2000 represents a blend of various parts and qualities, and even though those parts may not be perfect or spectacular in themselves, the sum of these parts results in a great machine. It's about being sassy but effective at the same time - like a nasty brat who gets high grades in school so you can't actually punish him too severely for the pranks that he does around the house. Of course at the beginning I made the big mistake of expecting spectacular analog sound from it, since it's called a VA synth, but after a short-lived confusion I grew to understand what this synth is all about.

It just gives me cool sound plus an encouraging amount of ffeatures and sonic character = resulting in lots of fun & fulfillment in the field of sound exploration and song building - a recipe for success in my eyes.
